How PaySii Works
For you to send money with PaySii, you can either choose to use the website or PaySii app for Android app and iOS app. You will need to register before you can make any transaction. PaySii sign up registration process involves submission of your photo ID and proof of address. You will also need to verify your email address to successfully activate your account and be able to send money.
How to Pay for PaySii Money Transfer
Compared to many other money transfer services, PaySii has a limited number of options for you to pay for your transfers. You can only use your bank account, debit card or credit. Cards you can use are Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro. Luckily, your transfers and data are fully encrypted for security purposes.
How to Receive PaySii Money Transfer in Africa
Depending on the country you are sending to, your recipient can receive the funds in their mobile money wallet, bank account, or collect cash. You can also send airtime recharge. For example, if you want to make a transfer to Cameroon, you will only be able to send to MTN Money or airtime recharge. Sending to Ethiopia, your beneficiary can receive the funds via HelloCash Mobile Money or pick up cash. Using PaySii Sweden to send money to Somalia, your beneficiary can receive via mobile wallet, bank account, or cash pickup. You will see all the available options in your recipient’s country when making your transfer.
How Much Does It Cost to Send Money With PaySii?
PaySii charges a transaction fee for international money transfers. The fee amount is determined by the amount you are sending, your payment method, and your recipient’s country. Generally, PaySii is not a low-cost money transfer service compared to many other money transfer services to Africa. As an example, sending $200 to Airtel Tigo Money in Ghana will cost you $10.
Transfer Speed
In most cases, money transfers to mobile wallets or cash reach your beneficiary instantly. For instance, PaySii Mpesa transfer is instant. Some cash pick up transfers may take longer due to holidays and pickup locations’ business hours. Airtime recharge is usually instant, while bank transfers may take up to three days.
