ATL Money Transfer Limits
The minimum amount you can transfer with ATL is £10 (or its equivalent). The maximum amount is £900 per year before account verification.
Once you have verified your ATL account, you will be able to send up to £10,000 per transaction online via bank transfer and a maximum amount of £5,000 via card. However, you can make more than one card payment a day.
How to Verify Your ATL Account
In the beginning, your ATL account is not verified but you will still be able to send money. If you want to increase your transfer limit, you then need to verify your account. Moreover, account verification improves the security of your account. To verify your account, you need to provide (i) one proof of identity (i.e. passport, national ID card, EU national resident permit, or EEA photo card driving license) and (ii) one proof of address (.i.e utility bill (British gas, electricity or bank statement), local authority tax bill, and correspondence from HM Revenue & Customs.

How Much Do I Need to Pay for ATL Money Transfer?
If you send 500 GBP to Cameroon, your beneficiary will receive 365,000. Your transfer fee will be 15 GBP. The exchange rate at the time of writing this article will be 730 XAF, which is less than the mid-market exchange rate (738 XAF). Like many other money transfer services, ALT adds a markup on the exchange rate. There is a charge of 0.50% for using a GBP debit card, but with a credit card ALT charges 3% for processing. There are no extra charges for paying with Sofort banking, internet banking and InfinitCard.
