OrbitRemit allows you to fund your transfer directly from your bank account. You can also fund your transfer using POLi. POLi is an online payment option you can use to safely pay direct from your bank account.
You need OrbitRemit bank details to complete your transaction. After you select ‘Bank Transfer’ on the ‘Fund Transfer’ screen, you will see OrbitRemit bank account details and the reference you will need to add when making payment. Take note of the bank details and the reference because you will need them when making a bank transfer from your bank. Once OrbitRemit receives your funds, they will complete the transfer to your recipient in South Africa.
When paying for your transfer please ensure you pay from a bank account in your name . If the account name doesn’t match the name registered on your OrbitRemit account we may need to return the money to you. You cannot make payment on behalf of others. To ensure there are no delays processing your transfer, please ensure you use your unique eight digit customer number as the reference when making payment to us. You can find your Customer Number by clicking on your initials within your profile.

Funds from New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom can only be sent to a bank account in South Africa. All transfers are released the same day OrbitRemit receives your payment. Transfers can take between 1-3 business days to reflect in the beneficiary’s bank account.
